Uxmal, view from grand pyramid

Looking north from atop Grand Pyramid

From the top of the Grand Pyramid, one can see the massive platforms upon which the major structures of Uxmal rest. From the left are the Nunnery Quadrangle, the House of the Turtles glimpsed through the trees, and the Pyramid of the Magician.

The Puuc hills stretch away in the distance.
